Guangdong HaoRan Transmission Co.,Ltd. ("HaoRan Transmission", "we", "us") operates haorantransmission.com. This page explains what information we receive when you use this website or send us an inquiry, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.
We supply industrial gearboxes and geared motors to businesses. We do not sell consumer products through this site, we run no advertising on it, and we do not sell or rent anyone's personal information.
Information you send us
Our inquiry forms collect information for one reason: so that you can ask us about a drive product. Our inquiry forms — "Send Your Nameplate", in English and Russian — ask for:
- your work email address
- your country
- the gearbox family and the driven equipment you are asking about
- your message
- a nameplate photo or document (JPG, PNG, WEBP or PDF, up to 10 MB)
- on the Russian form, the installation space available
We also receive the address of the page the form was sent from. You choose what goes into the message and the attachment; please do not send us documents containing personal information that you would rather we did not hold.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, this one produces technical records.
Web server logs. Our server records the visitor's IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response status, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. These logs rotate monthly and roughly twelve months of them are kept. They are readable by the people who administer the server.
Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as its security and performance layer. Cloudflare receives visitor IP addresses and request details in order to do that, and a Cloudflare script measures page performance from your browser. Our two inquiry forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot check that examines signals such as your IP address, browser and connection characteristics.
Cookies and browser storage. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit this site, which pages they read and where they come from. It sets cookies of its own in your browser. These hold a randomly generated number that lets Google Analytics recognise the same browser on a later visit; they do not contain your name, your email address or anything you type into our forms.
Google Analytics also collects city-level location and information about your browser and device, such as device model and screen resolution. The location is derived from your IP address at the time of collection, and Google discards the IP address afterwards.
This site also includes the Google Ads tag. Where we advertise on Google, it allows Google Ads to record that a visit came from one of our advertisements, and it sets a cookie in your browser for that purpose.
Advertising personalisation is switched on in our Google Analytics property. This means the measurement data from this site can be used for advertising purposes, for example to build audience groups in a linked Google Ads account. Google Signals, which would link this data to signed-in Google accounts, is switched off. The user-provided data collection feature in this Google Analytics property is switched off.
Our Google Analytics data-retention setting is 14 months. This setting applies to user-level and event-level data, not to aggregated reports.
Our website software also keeps a small technical value in your browser’s session storage to decide how to display emoji, and the Turnstile check keeps a value in local storage on the two form pages. Cloudflare may set a cookie of its own if its security systems present you with a challenge.
In browsers that support Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, you can install it to prevent the Analytics JavaScript from sharing visit activity with Google Analytics; it applies to Google Analytics only. You can also block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings; blocking cookies limits what can be recorded about you, but does not by itself stop all measurement.
Apart from the Google tools described above, we do not use Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Yandex Metrica or comparable advertising and tracking tools on this website.
How your inquiry reaches us
When you submit a form, your message and any attachment are sent to us as email. The email is generated on our web server, delivered through Brevo (our email delivery provider), addressed to [email protected], forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing, and received in a Google Gmail mailbox that we use for sales correspondence. The automatic acknowledgement you receive is sent through Brevo to your own email provider.
Your attachment travels with that email, which means it passes through those providers. On the web server itself an uploaded file is held only briefly, while the email is being produced, and the upload directory is not open to public browsing. Inquiries are handled as email: this website does not keep a separate database of form submissions.
Who can see your inquiry
Within our company, inquiries are read by the owner and by authorised sales staff who follow them up. We do not pass your details to other companies for their own purposes, and we do not share them with trading partners such as freight forwarders or manufacturing partners. Should that ever become necessary for a specific inquiry, we will tell you.
Outside our company, the service providers below necessarily handle the data in the course of running the website and delivering the mail:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Hosting. Our server is located in Helsinki, Finland |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Security, performance and email routing |
| Brevo | Sending the inquiry email and the automatic reply |
| Hosting the mailbox in which inquiries are received, measuring website traffic through Google Analytics, and the Google Ads tag used for advertising measurement |
Each of them handles data under its own privacy terms.
Where your information travels
Our web server is in Finland. Our service providers operate in the European Union and the United States, and our company is in China. An inquiry you send is therefore transferred internationally — from your country to our server and mail providers, and on to us in China — for the sole purpose of answering you.
Why we handle it
We use inquiry information to answer your question, to prepare a quotation, and to follow it up. In the terms used by European data protection law, we handle it in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and in our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence, including attachments, for three years from our last contact with you about it, and then delete it. Technical server logs are kept for about twelve months, as described above. Our email providers retain their own copies of message traffic under their own rules, which we do not control; if you want your correspondence removed, tell us and we will delete it on our side and stop using it.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] if you would like to:
- know what inquiry information we hold about you
- have something corrected
- have your inquiry and its attachments deleted
- ask us to stop contacting you
Please tell us which inquiry you mean, so that we can find it. We will reply as quickly as we can, and within thirty days at the latest. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This is a business website for industrial equipment. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change the way we handle inquiry information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
